Peculiarities of measuring fluorescence decay times by a streak camera for ps-TALIF experiments in reactive plasmas

Abstract We present a detailed methodology for (i) correctly configuring streak camera to capture raw picosecond two-photon absorption laser induced fluorescence signals (ps-TALIF) of H-atom in low- and atmospheric-pressure plasmas, (ii) properly processing the recorded experimental data with dedicated mathematical signal method infer actual ps-TALIF H-atom. The goal is accurate determination decay time A ps-laser used excite atomic hydrogen produced both plasmas are detected by using different windows/ranges (TR). It shown that choice TR affects shapes times TALIF signals. This defined as instrumental function has Gaussian profile determined recording ultrafast pulse at TR.
